Confilm Evaporation Reducer

Confilm Evaporation Reducer

Confilm Evaporation Reducer reduces surface-moisture evaporation which helps with concrete flatwork. It is most useful in rapid-drying conditions, such as high concrete-surface or ambient temperatures, low humidity, high winds, direct sunlight, or work in heated interiors during cold weather.

This mixture does not affect the cement hydration process nor does it alter concrete strength, abrasion resistance, or durability. It reduces crusting and stickiness while helping to prevent unevenness and poor surface and underlying sponginess texture.

Confilm evaporation reducer makes air entrainment possible in rapid-drying conditions. It also allows for longer working time in hot, dry, or windy conditions.

It can be used on concrete surfaces where the evaporation rate exceeds the bleed rate, air-entrained and non-air-entrained concrete, silica-fume concrete, and concrete containing fly ash. It is usable on both horizontal and vertical surfaces as well as both interior and exterior locations.

One gallon of Confilm evaporation reducer mixed with nine gallons of water should cover 2,000 to 4,000 square feet of fresh concrete.

It is sold in one-gallon cans, five-gallon pails, and 55-gallon drums.
